There are the perennials - "don't know the author and/or title but it's got a blue/red/white/etc cover" "I'm looking for a book for my mother but I don't know what she likes. Can you recommend something she'd like?"
Today I was asked if we could organise the books according to nationality of authors. This person doesn't like mixing her British and Americans. I didn't ask why.
Also today: "Do you sell stamps? No, okay, so where's the post office then?" Jeez.
